Location: George Washington's Mount Vernon, East Lawn

Description: (Invited Guests Only)

This patriotic, celebratory night supports Mount Vernon’s mission of education, historic preservation, and the legacy of George Washington.  Mount Vernon is undertaking two critical projects in the lead up to America250 celebrations, including stabilizing and securing the foundation of the Mount Vernon Mansion and revitalizing the exhibition on George Washington’s leadership.

Location: 6th and Market Streets, Philadelphia, PA

Date & Time: October 12, 2025 / 6:00-10:00 p.m.

Description: Enjoy a star-studded popular patriotic concert on Indepoendence Mall featuring "The Commandant's Own," The U.S. Navy Band, choruses, and other headliners. The concert will be followed by an aerial sound and light show. Free and open to the public.

Location: JFK Blvd & 20th St. to 520 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19106

Date & Time: October 13, 2025 / 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Description: The public is invited to enjoy the two-hour spectacle, with floats, balloons, and marching bands, as well as Navy and Marine Corps vehicles of the past and present. Additionally, the parade will honor young people on the path to military service, including Naval Academy midshipmen and students from ROTC, NROTC, and JROTC programs. The parade will step off at JFK Boulevard and 20th Street and conclude at Independence Mall. Free and open to the public.
