On Friday, "The Commandant's Own" inaugurated the 11th consecutive season of performing 'Ode to Joy' with synchronized cannon fire from the Body Bearer Section from Company B at Marine Barracks, Washington, DC.  Hosted by LtGen Robert Milstead, Marine Barracks honored the president of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Ms. Bonnie Carroll with over 400 family members of fallen heroes.  It was an honor to launch this international hymn of freedom with our TAPS (www.taps.org) family.
